A Girl So Young
A girl so young, with a baby on the way But it was you that gave me hope?
And made everything okay
On our first night together, you slept, snuggled against my chest I watched you breathe softly
?As I promised to always try my best
My baby boy, you already mean the world to me
Overjoyed by your arrival
?My love for you, runs deeper than any sea
Many seem to judge because my age
But that don’t matter
?For you freed my heart, from it’s cage
A girl so young, with a baby of her own
?And people can talk
?But it’s ok because it’s real love that you’ve shown
