Fallen Angels
Towns are snakes in the earths crust,
Crudely cut with a knife by the divine,
Entwining, turning red rivers, into lakes into seas,
As though when the angels fell,
Bloodied and flightless,
They drained the worlds life force and pain fell from their wings,
Tainting the earth and watering seeds,
Spreading the weeds that sprung in its place,
Causing veins to emerge,
And human cracks to show,
Creating weakness, lies and hate in mankind,
And hurting what’s left of it
