Life of War
hatred of countries stock up,
youth are scoped out from all around.
militaries are chambered and readied,
suddenly a rifle somewhere is fired.
Soldiers explode into action,
Bullets are fired; cartridges of death are ejected,
Peacemakers come into range,
But the bombing continues.
As the bolt locks, the chemicals emerge,
And someone pulls the pin.
When blood stops flowing and the barrel rusts,
The war is over.
