"A guy walks up to me and asks 'What's Punk?'. So I kick over a garbage can and say 'That's punk!'. So he kicks over a garbage can and says 'That's Punk'?, and I say 'No that's trendy'!"- Billie Joe Armstrong, Green Day

The Mall Santa taught me the meaning of Christmas
It’s a time to fix those things left unfinished
I don’t think I’ll ever get along with December
But maybe that’s the way it should be

I’m best described as temperamental
I still don’t think before I speak
Let’s make this moment monumental
It’s time I end this losing streak

I want to live long enough to see the west coast
And maybe just maybe, I’ll see you there
I left out the part where I got bitter
But it could just be the weather

Let’s stay up late and count sheep in the distance
I can’t believe that I thought we would miss this
I hope one day you’ll come to your senses
Cause that’s where you’ll find me

I’m best described as temperamental
I still don’t think before I speak
Let’s make this moment monumental
It’s time I end this losing streak

We spent this year just wasting time, and I
I needed time to find what’s mine
You never really had a choice, and I
I needed time to make my mind up

I’m best described as temperamental
If you speak your mind, then I’ll speak mine
Let’s make this moment monumental
Just take my hand, and we’ll be fine

Pop-punk in the same vein as The Wonder Years or Fireworks. But I don't have the time/drive to work on music so for the most part it's just writing, school, and work.

I don't need a rose. I want a daisy you picked for my hair. I don't want some fancy box of chocolate. I want a pink frosting cookie you made just for me. Lets skip the upscale restaraunt and have a picnic in the park.

I like this; it's hard to explain, but i do.  It really just hits home. What style/genre/whatever you call it of music would you play this in?
