Nobody Knows But Us
Just like that, his alluring personality pulls you in
And with a simple kiss you feel your heart wither away.
The only thought flowing through your mind
Is that all good boys go to heaven,
And all bad boys bring heaven to you.
At first you are content,
With his good morning texts and back rubs.
Then you are enraged,
Wanting to deny the misery he has now brought to you.
You lay in bed,
Drowsy.
“I’m cursed”, you think to yourself.
You look at that graceful girl he left you for with envy.
Her perfectly straight hair,
And her glistening tan.
But don’t fret,
For he will just crush her too.
Now,
Your job is to protect your heart
From any further damage.
And to realize you didn’t get played,
Because what did you have to lose?
