And You have the power
To destroy me.
I am completely
Vulnerable
Anxious
Terrified
Because of You.
I let you define me.
Like a word in the dictionary
Whose definition is complex and many.
I let you mold me.
Like a crooked, drooping sculpture
Whose only beautiful in Your eyes.
I put you before myself.
And You,
You put Yourself before me.
I am dependent on You.
Although temporary, I rely on
You to bring me happiness.
Because without You,
I don’t know what I am
Or who I am.
