Please Don't Make Me Grow Up
Can you believe how old we are?
Can you believe that we are going to be seniors?
Do you realize that we will soon be saying goodbye?
Please don't make me grow up.
I'm not ready to leave
I'm not ready to go and say goodbye
I'm not ready for the real world.
We only have
one more band camp
One more half time show
One more yearbook
One more chance to compete
One more bonfire.
Please don't make me grow up.
I'm not ready to go.
Please don't make me grow up.
I don't want to say goodbye.
Please don't make me grow up.
I still have so much I want to do.
Why do I have to grow up?
Why do I have to be an adult?
We only have
1 Carthage Game left
1 Homecoming left
1 Christmas Concert left
1 Spring Concert left
We only have one more chance to get a top locker.
We only have one more chance to get the perfect schedule.
Please don't make me grow up.
I still have a lot to do.
Please don't make me grow up.
I don't want to go.
I'm starting to cry just thinking about senior year. We've had our good times and the bad. There has been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears along our journey, but in the end it was worth it.
In the end we are the class of 2017 and I don't want to go.
Please don't make me grow up.
Why can't this be like marching band and 'one more time' is a lie?

I am going to be a senior next year and I am NOT ready to leave. I love school and marching band and I have no idea what to do without it. I do not own the image.
