my little mistakes
they hurt me every day
they remind me of the past
of what i've done
and what I regret
my little mistakes
they make me feel something
they help me not feel numb
i get so used to numbness
feeling something besides sadness is a treat
they help me remember
remember that i don't need that anymore
and i hope that one day i will bid adieu to
my little mistakes
