Where to
Stands unmoving, running wild
Staring blindly into space
Slow, it ticks to keep the beat
Of longing for another place
Thoughts in query, fear the sage
He tells of futures, fancy, fun
For other people dance around
And through endless streets, I chase the sun
The house I stay, roofed and warm
Yet the rain falls on my head
Without a home, my mind shouts out
Desperate callings to a bed
Intentions fume, expression plain
Questions coming back to light
Crowds continue past in stream
No answers form to join my plight
And there I wander, ever further
Coherence rare and hard to see
A creeping figure silhouettes
And morning shows the shadow is me
