hues tell stories

life's valuable fortunes
like shimmering gold will never
compare to the sepia tones
that resemble ancient photos.
the melancholy black specks
quietly express your darkest nights,
and the pine green swirls
remain as mystical as the sea.
the burning fire is fueled
by the fierce orange flames,
but the chestnut flecks
fight the raging blaze.
every color palette in the world
is green with envy because
your eyes display the universe's
undiscovered hues, thoughts, and stories.
