I Dream Of The Sea
I dream of the sea
As full of color and life
With coral as far as the eyes can see
And Seaweed as tall as the sky
I dream of the sea
As a place that fish delight
With cubby’s and holes to live in
Free of stress that they might die
I dream of the sea
As home to dolphins and whales
Full and blue for them to frolic and sing
From pod to pod across the ocean
I dream of the sea
As a hideaway for sharks
Away from hands that seek to take
Their given right to swim away from them
I dream of the sea
As being devoid of nets and plastic
Or any black oils and waste
Anything that would tarnish it’s wild beauty
I dream of the sea
As a full and pure creation
Destined to be taken away soon
If it continues to be abused
I dream of the sea
As a play land for all its creatures
Not just homes for fish
And play lands for dolphins
And Hideaways for sharks
I dream of the sea
As all the things it should be
I dream of the sea
Of being proud, pure, and free.

One thing I think people take for granted is the ocean, it may be big but it's still hurting by the strain man puts on it by finning sharks, leaving trash on the beach and even killing dolphins and whales for meat. I wrote this poem as an image of what the sea is supposed to be.
