I know you love me;
I see it in the way you look at me
The way your face lights up when you see me
But you always turn away.
Why?
I know your heart longs to be near me
I hear it in the way you speak to me
I feel it in the way you hold me close
But you always run
Why?
Your fear confuses me
I can't understand why you pull away
Treating my heart like a yoyo on a string
Pulling me close then throwing me away?
Please, won't you tell me why?
