Mona Lisa
Mona Lisa?
Does she smile or does she frown?
Does she wish to walk around?
To be able to roam free,
Get away from that wretched seat.
Perhaps she may just be bored,
Of sitting in that one spot for,
Hours on end waiting to,? Mona Lisa
See the masterpiece across the room.? Leonardo Da Vinci
Perhaps she’s just excited to,
Meet Leonardo,
She may just be his biggest fan,
She likely wants to shake his hand.
Still, we struggle to sense her sure spirit.
We cannot concisely conclude her certain feelings.
She cleverly conceals her thoughts behind a mask of impassiveness,
So it is difficult to definitively decide her emotion.
But does she smile or does she frown?
Might she wish to leave these crowds,
Of eager tourists who yell, scream, stop and then resume.
To get away from that wretched room.
