My Side
Life
Deep inside i struggle with existence.
Judge me by my pages not by the color of my pigment.
For i stand proud
And smile at who I am.
With no help from a father
i grew into a man.
I live for my mother
My heart and my soul
The sterling to my silver
The real in my gold.
I like to stay dressed like its winter
Because the world is so cold.
So young at age
Yet so old in soul.
I apply myself in life
Such wisdom i posses.
I do good in school
To put my life to the test.
