dream

i have this constant
recurring dream
i’m running
faster and faster
flailing my arms faster and faster
getting no where
staying in one spot as if i
am not moving
at all
and then
i fall
descending farther and farther
into the dark void
and i see his face
watching me as a fall
yet making no attempt
to catch me
