The Beautiful People

The two tied together like a backwards lovers knot
The girl so picturesque in beauty and certainly hot.
The boys arms so thick, so strong, may even be lethal
We ordinaries must stare at the beautiful people.

Her blonde bottle-colored hair glistens in the sun
Gossiping and rumors are just her kind of fun.
She struts down the hallway, lips unearthly red,
holding in lusty secrets that should be left unsaid.
She sashays a bit further, hips swinging to each side
Distracting the male populations view and causing the females to sigh.
And then she meets him and what do you know,
They’re at it again putting on a love show.
Their confidence is astounding as they move with each other
and she doesn’t know she’s just another.

He gladly gives what he receives
We ordinary people know his only talent is to deceive.
What a fitting skill that is as he holds her to him.
Admiring lustfully her eyes, lips, and body slim.
His friends laugh behind him with whipping sounds and cheer
He threw them his mask of a painted on leer.
He would go with that group to the gym as they did everyday
Because that’s how he remained strong and assured she would stay.
His young elfish face and expertly touseled hair assisted this
For surely, the chance to be seen with him is not one she would miss.
He held her tighter in that moment making dominant cavemen advances
Only those loving gestures would promote any mans chances.

His spontaneous loving outbursts and wandering hands
Is what caused the girl to, in her head, formulate the plans.
They were to take a journey, not too far of course
She wouldn’t expect that of her white knight on his horse.
She prepared the night herself, paid each necassary expense
What he was expecting was much more intense.
She bought a gown of deep red and blinding white
He found a suit a mysterious black and thought maybe, maybe he might.

They entered the cavern of music and dance
And he gave to her the coyest glance.
He swept her in his arms so tight it hurt
And spun her around with her purity bleeding skirt.

They got lost in the crown of bodies moving fast
Until she caught sight of his figure at last.
She ran towards as she had times before
But upon walking up she fell to the floor.
As before they were tired, that beautiful girl and boy
Here he was now trading out his toys.

She shot up oh so fast and ran far away
And out in the dark night she decided to stay.
She refused to cry, that’s never alright
But it seems her makeup wasn’t waterproof tonight.

I stood as ordinary to that beautiful girl
I watched so silently as he broke her world.
I heard what was said, I watched it unfold
For if I hadn’t, the story of the beautiful people would never be told.

Another British Literature piece I swear that's where all my work is coming from. This one is poking fun at a stereotypical High School couple their relationship and breakup. Making fun of the Beautiful People
