Her Escape
She gets off her bed and walks to the mirror
She wonders what kind of spell is on her
She stares blankly at her reflection
How can people assume she wants attention?
She is disgusted with what she sees
She tells people she is ugly, they respond "oh please"
She is just a walking body
Facing the world with nobody
At night she gazes at the moon
Telling her lost loved ones " ill be home soon"
She sits on her bed once more
In her own world behind closed doors
She turns the lights off and puts her music on
This is her routine until dawn
Every day is the same
Then the day came
She had enough
Enough of her life being tough
She cried nonstop
Teardrop after teardrop
She reaches for pills she knows will numb her pain
Hoping to escape to a dream where she will remain
She takes 2 then 4 then 8
Now it's just too late
She slowly begins to lose her sight
She doesn't even put up a fight
She just laid there and let it happen
And that's when it began
Her lifeless body on her bed
She is now just a cold stiff body, dead
She was a girl who was misunderstood
She was a girl who was always good
She just had too much stress
Contributing to this horrible mess
6 feet under her body is gone
But her spirit lives on
