Valentine's day
the holiday people spend so much money on
they say there's a bit history behind valentines day
but I believe that Hallmark made it up to earn some extra cash
I found it as a pointless holiday but
probably only because I never had anyone to spend it with
year after year I'd spend a few bucks on orange sherbet and sit down and watch some horror movie like Halloween or Jason
because on that day watching some love movie would make me feel more alone then I already was
I never got anything for valentines days but I never gave anything either
it wasn't that I completely hated the holiday
I just felt so alone
honestly speaking I wasn't alone, alone
I just didn't have a affectionate other to show my love to
until this year that is
I finally found someone to share this totally fake expensive holiday with
at lest the holiday had some meaning to it
and even though love doesn't have to have a point
I had found my point to my pointlessness
