Irrational

I have a lot of irrational fears
about what lurks in my room
when the lights go off
and wondering what hides
under the dark ocean water
and if the bridge will crumble
as the cars rush across
but my biggest fear
that I think about at night
is what I’d be
if I didn’t have you
