constructed in a factory
each porcelain mold sculpts a crevice in their bodies
the pale perfection poured over plastic
dotted with blank hazel eyes
naked unseeing smiles
the stiff posture of unfeeling
one by one is a duplicate
a splotch of paint upon her cheek
viewed as an imperfection; thrown away
laying in a stained cardboard box
disbelief of the clicks of footsteps
found in the moment of despair
the girl who treasures the doll as a unique individual
blessed with parallel flaws
i am the faulted doll in a world of monotony
