Purple

Purple is the way I feel.
Not sad and blue,
but not quite red and full of love.
With a little splash of girly pink.
Purple because I’m moody at times.
Purple because I’m elegant and sophisticated.
Girly and shy at times.
My favorite color?
Purple.
My walls?
Purple.
My notebook?
Purple.
My pen?
Purple.
When I see it I instantly become happier.
I can relate to it so well.
Purple is my life.
My dreams.
Everything that is me.
The color of my soul.
My heart.
My being.
Purple.

I liked the originality of the poem a lot. It was a great topic and hasn't been overdone. The main thing I would work on though is vocabulary. Instead of saying sad, say melancholy or forlorn. To describe emotins use more descriptive, empowering words instead of sterytypical words used in everyday conversation.
