Captins log year 15

Im lost out on this great blue abiss

I can only feel a force pushing me down sinking my ship

This feeling cannot be descibed
Only felt

As if your always loosing
Running against a current
That never changes direction

There is one bright star in the abyss
The that guides me
Reminds me this current is a mere image
In my dead skull
It shows me that little by little
You can beat this current
Moveing north twards her

If only i could see the star every night
For some nights i loose her in the dark fog
But her beauty lingers on in my head and my heart

Reminding me there is a way out
There is a way through
This current that tears so deeply into my bones every morning and every night

I cannot help but think im not the only one
Whos cursed with this feeling
I am lucky as my star numbs this feeling
I imagine others arnt so lucky

So what do they do
Cut open there crimson pathways and watch it drip slowly as they waste away
No
What could that prove?
That the current has grabbed your ship and won its battle
No
Your ship is much to mighty
Much to worthy
Not crafted by some god in the clouds
But by you
With your own hands you have built this ship
Every nail
Every wooden plank
Every action and course its taken was all you
Yourself
This ship is yours
Letting the current win is no way a ship should sink

This current
This feeling
Has taken many ships
The strong and brave pull through
Going through is the only way
To prove anything
To show that your mighy ship
Of witch you built
Is strong enough to withstand
That thia current is merely a scratch on the surface of its mighty hull

This current has a name after all
Its felt by many
A test of heart and mind
To every captin whos made it through
The mighty current witch holds us back
I ask
What is your bright star
That gets you through the mighty blue abyss
Of the current of lonlyness
