Naïve?
I wish the walls were thicker.
I wish they could keep away the sounds,
The shouts, the arguments, the tears,
and the misunderstandings,
because they are all leaking through.
My tears, my shouts, my cries now too.
I never understand the arguments, but how could I?
I'm young and naïve, I haven't been in their situation.
I only understand the obvious,
but I'm the only one.
These fights start with the lack of knowing the obvious,
not knowing what could change it all.
It's too late now,
Now, what matters is how it continues,
how the fight is fueled.
Is it because of the rage bottled up inside,
or the lack of peace?
No, it's the continuing silence preceding,
so that the important things come out when they don't want to be heard,
when they won't be understood,
but at least they are released,
released into the world.
And what is released, exactly?
The obvious,
that seemed to be a new concept into people's minds,
but already present in mine.
So, why can't the walls be thicker,
So that the only arguments I have to go through, are mine.
