Time Pass
Time sticks to the walls like old jam
I pry with all I have within me to urge it along
However the more I try the sun gets hotter on my back
And time seems to become the wall itself
I struggle until my arms turn into the jelly that time once was
As I am trying to claw down the empire state building
Sitting on the curb nearby was refreshing until
Emotions chilled the sun and my insides froze
Time slows down every moment that passes
Trading and swapping the pain that accompanies it means nothing
I must suffer by its side as the second hand clicks along
Centimeters at a time
My heart will either boil over or begin to chap with the cold
As I try to let it pass, as I refuse to let go
No I will not let go of time
Because time leads me to you
