The Power of Books
You stare at the crisp white page with perfect inky
black lettering. Those many letters create words. Those
words make stories. It makes a whole other universe
that you love. Your mind gets stuck in that one setting and the characters
inspire you to do bold things. Imagining yourself as that person and
wondering how your thoughts or feelings may alter.
Every time, strolling into the bookstore searching for another book
that tops it. Studying each and every colorfully detailed cover.
From hard cover to paper back. From romance to action. From
musty old books to shiny new ones that the spine crinkles when
you open it. This is how books affect me. How about you?
