Cannon
Sparks fly when you smile at me
Fireworks go off in my heart
We get the same things but sometimes
 We are worlds apart
But I am thankful for the moments when
You say BOO! and I jump five feet high
I look at you and the butterflies in my stomach
 Begin to fly
I'm happy to hear your voice
 And to be around you
Your kindness and jokes and beauty
Is how my love for you grew
So this is a story about a boy
 And a once frightened girl
 And it's also about the
 "Shot heard 'round the world"
