Color
Lying in a room so full of color
Waiting for the day when she can leave it for another
 She turns off the lights
And she lies in bed and cries
 The tears burn her cheeks
 They fall down in streaks
 Frustration idly bubbles inside
Looking for a way to bide the time
Feeling locked up, though she’s never committed a crime
 She waits, sometimes patiently
And sometimes like today- where no thoughts come reasonably
