OUr love is a rose
Starting out as a bud
Sprouting up out of
The muck and the mud.

This rose has some thorns,
And some petals gone rotten
From all our bad days
That might not be forgotten.

But when you step back
And look at the whole flower,
You'll see our rose blooming
With beauty and power.

I do still wish that there was more tofigure out about this than what is said, but really fantastic. the rhymes are a little obvious, but that's cool I guess, good job

I love it, the whole thing and the imagery and symbolism is wonderful! It's short (simple) but sweet, awesome!

awesome! I love the first stanza, it really drew me in. Especially when you said it was coming through the muck and the mud :)
