We were tight
Like the Jackson’s 5
We cuddled and laugh every Saturday night.
You held my hands in the park
You wrote me a song 20 days a week
You brushed my hair out my face,
And whispered------ I love you in my ear.
And then he was gone
Without a goodbye,
Without a note,
Without a hug,
Without a trace,
Without a kiss,
Without a song,
And then he was gone
Out in the world without me.

The author's comments:
This verse came to me when i was in the kitchen. I thought of how sometime its possible for a love one to leave without giving any explanation on why they left. And it hurts really bad to find out the one that you love or thought you knew could leave you without a trace of nothing.
