The faucet is hissing
And it erupts
You wonder why
Why it won't stop
And all it does is get stronger
Splashing your face
Your hair, and your eyes are poisoned
It hates you lungs and thinks your nose a disgrace
It overflows in dark pools
Seeping through cracks you never knew
You wonder why
Why it won't stop
And all you can do is stand and watch
And wonder why
Why your tears won't stop
