I Am Not A

A is for Apathetic
The first thing I see
was what adequate
work I've done
I could do better, for sure
But A was the only best
I could accept
Straight As
A is for Anxiety
It's over
I'm done
There's a relief
A sense of peace
I won't feel any grief
without Fs at the end
no record or report that
I'm a Failure
A is for Anger
Am I angry?
Could I have done better
but I tried everything
and anything
that I could
to get that letter
but I am not that grade,
that's supposed to be so great
What Am I
I am not an A
