The End of an Era
Behind every eager heart are the continuously pumping veins of hope and spirit. Day in and day out, the veins pump the blood to the heart, giving the heart the spirit to beat at a steady rhythm, to never tire of the simplicity of beating. An eager heart, one supplied with blood cleansed by the outgoing energy of the mind, will never give in. It will never lose interest in what brings joy to the body, and will maintain a strong passion for the spirits that these joys invoke, for these spirits make the heart eager. A heart lacking eagerness and passion lacks love, and will only ever be able to conjure a temporary sense of happiness, an imaginary shield that masks the true feelings within. Weariness, distaste, and negativity are the only forces that can defeat the eager heart: the only true boundaries between joys and miseries. When these forces unite, an eager heart, the key factor in happiness, is transformed. Instead of veins filled with continuous hope and spirits , the veins start to become clogged with negativity. The heart, once filled with joy and spirit, becomes tired. It no longer beats in a steady, passionate rhythm. The beating becomes forced, and eventually turns into a job that is only completed due to necessity. Eventually, the once eager and passionate heart will give up entirely.
