Timing
Chances
The song that changes everything,
that gives you power,
power to take a step
forward and not a step back.
A fifty percent chances
is all you need,
you could lose or win
with just one step.
A little step or a big step,
is all it takes
all before the song ends.
The song can't play on for long,
I know that first hand.
Hope
You got to believe in yourself,
before you can in anything else.
Hope can only get you so far,
Before it's too late
take all your hopes and dreams
turn them into reality.
Reality that you can be great,
before the time window closes.
Know your limit,
and what you can do
in the end,
Time is always limited.
Opportunities
The song is coming to an end
It’s time for the big move.
The flag is lifeless,
I am to the flag as
Cause is to effect.
The flag goes down just as
quirky as it went up.
Bang
The mental hits the floor,
sounds like a door
being slammed.
It’s over now
Timing
Everything has a time limit
before it's too late
Take that hope
use it
for a chance,
take that chance
for an opportunity.
All before the time it out
a song can only
play on for so long.
So turn that opportunity
in to the reality before
time is out.
Time can be your
enemy or your friend.
Don’t waste time
before you have to make them
Big move.
Don’t make them
the door hit you on the way out.

Hello, my name is Ciara Barrett. I go to Suffern High School. I'm your ordinary teen, I hang out with my friends at the mall when I have time, I study and play sports. I wrote this poem for poetry but I wanted to make it about some every one could relate to.
