See ya Later Gator
You have a dimple on your left cheek when you smile. You have eyes deep and blue like the sea. You have four freckles in a line on your chin. You have one mole on your middle finger. And although I know all of these things and more so vividly, you are not mine. You never loved me the same way. You didn’t even care to see that I have a birth mark on my back or that I like to write. You robbed me of the true love I deserved. I had to be selfish. Even though I love you, my heart aches for much more. It aches for coffee dates and adventures. It aches for random flowers and poetry. It aches for kisses on the cheek and random check ups. This isn’t a goodbye. I wish the best for you and more. It’s just a see ya later gator.
