Don't strive to be the best, strive to be the best YOU can be

On the outside people see a different girl
Full of happiness and confidence
Always peppy
Always smiling.
They see curly hair
And not a bright smile.
They see hazel eyes that are never the right green
And they see a talker.
They call her annoying
But she is something else inside..

On the inside she's unsure
Why don't people like me?
How can I change to please them?
She wants gorgeous green eyes
And a perfect smile.
She wants everyone to like her, whatever it takes!
She's afraid of being alone,
And always has self doubt.
She's been bullied all her life..
She thinks she is a weirdo
She's different.
That She
Is me
