Black dawn
 Rising slowly 
 Stars hide in their midnight hues before all consuming darkness
 Day starts not in sunlight, but in 
 night begins the rise of the black sun
 that spreads its rays like wings
 covering the earth in a cloak 
 however
 it takes only a pinprick of 
 light
 to break through the shell of darkness
 so that the blind
