Fabulous Fidai-Bagh in Allaying Andheri, India
Withstanding nature’s forces, buildings inject glamour into the sky;
Young, neophyte daisies erupt from the wet soil;
Profound oak trees disperse wisdom and knowledge.
Illuminating my childhood neighborhood, sunlight rips through polluted clouds,
Planting joy as it races through the land;
Whistling winds paint my heart with glee.
Rumbling incessantly, trains ravage the glimmering tracks;
Barking ferociously, stray dogs guard their puppies;
Chirping harmonically, birds pacify my mind.
Did my dad feel acquiescent when abandoning this grounded heaven?
Does anyone except me believe that this place has a future?
How can citizens litter on this majestic creation?
Delight flows in my veins as peace shrouds me, and I hum ecstatically as depression shrivels away.
Soothe...Soothe...Soothe.
