So many cides
yet not one
can uphold
the required body of evidence for a court case.

I fail to see whether this is a comment about the state of government, or just some fun with suffixes.

I apologize for the negativity, but I'm not sure 'uphold' is the best word for the meaning it seems like you're building. There are a large number of alternatives that I think would improve this, otherwise good, work.
