Trustfall
Sitting around making fun of the future
Swearing we’ll never end up like them
I never learned how to make up my own mind
Writing letters to you just to pass the time

You choose your words too carefully
And sometimes life’s not fair to me
It took too long for me to see
The grey sky’s not so comforting

You’re only as good as your loyalty
I ask only that you trust in me
I need space to breathe and time to think
About just who it is I want to be

It always comes back to my thoughts on paper
Just a pathetic attempt when I tried to save her
I guess she’s like me, just another dream chaser

You’re only as good as your loyalty
I ask only that you trust in me
I need space to breathe and time to think
About just who it is I want to be

You’re only as good as your loyalty
I ask only that you trust in me
I need space to breathe and time to think
About just who it is I want to be

I believe in only two philosophies
 You can forgive and forget
 Or just live with regret
So don’t live with regret for the rest of your life
If you forgive and forget then we might be alright
