Into freedom

Nothing here to guide us but the stars way up above
Placed there by the Lord as a reminder to us
To count our blessings, numerous as each bright speck of light
That all we have is His, even this moment here tonight
So remember that He's responsible for bringing you to me
and thank Him dearly

I wrote the song titled 'Away in the Meadow We Go' for my dad's birthday when I was little. I've always remembered the tune of the beginning of the song, but I didn't remember the lyrics. So all these years later, I came up with some new ones and continued the tune. This is for you, Papa. :)
