I Saw You but You Didn’t See Me
Everything was too much to handle
These eyes of mine saw your love as cruel one
Eyes igniting for revenge
Burning the flames of love into ashes
You saw my eyes
You saw the scars beneath those eyes
You saw the tears you’ve never seen before
You saw me begging you to stay
You saw me crying, pleading for love
You saw me broken and hopeless
You saw the devastation of my heart
You saw the things you’ve shouldn’t see before
You saw me in the state of breaking down.
You saw how my eyes sparkle, “I love you.”
I saw your ruthless soul.
I saw the way you turn your back on me.
I saw your stares with an empty glare
I saw your blank silence of my pleading cry
I saw your cruel words, saying, “No. I don’t love you.”
I saw you leaving me behind.
I saw you facing me for you just pity me.
I saw your mouth saying, “I’m sorry” out of mercy.
I saw your heart replacing me for someone else.
