A Warrior's Struggle

pt. 1
My heart fell.
It fell deep.
Now she has this bruise on her apex,
She hurts. It is hard for her
to circulate blood.
But she has to.
Even if it hurts,
even if its hard.
She has to keep pumping for me,
or else it was never worth it.
I die,
So does she.
So even though she’s bruised,
Eventually it will heal,
And I will be okay.
pt. 2
She kept pumping blood for me.
She was bruised,
It hurt.
She suffered.
Now, she has healed.
She is pumping blood,
And is so healthy,
And stronger than she’s ever been.
We are okay.
I am finally okay.
