Transparent and beautiful
Glittering and gilded
We look through the glass to see the outside world
Through the glass of a sailor’s spy scope,
Gazing at the brimey sea
Through the bubbled glass of a child’s magnifying lense, small eyes glistening
We gaze through the glassy eyes of the ones we love,
Crystalline tears forming
