love is a storm
a tornado of emotions
swirling around each other
yet not conversing.
love is dangerous
like a crime
or robbery;
he can steal your heart
break it
tear it apart
but never get caught.
love is pain
the resentment of not being with him
fills your soul
tearing the thing slowly
like a sheet of paper.
but
love is not bad.
love is not greedy.
love is patient.
love is kind.
how do i know this?
because i loved you…
