Anxiety
If I were strong
I would fly everywhere.
Unraveling the mysteries
Of the world,
Making a difference.
Unfortunately, the problem:
A Monarch Butterfly
Is trapped
It flaps
Its angry orange monsters
Inside me.
Now I understand the monarch
In its name.
Ruling over my decisions,
Hinders what I envision,
For this world.
I need to choke it out
Like a desperate pill.
But I can't.
I can't.
I just can't.

Nature has always inspired my work. Nature is the one place in which I feel free to let go of my anxiety and inspired to write. The words just seem to flow into my mind when I am surrounded by natural beauty.
