The Girl Who Loved
As I fall in love
with the prince to be
I'm only a fish in this never ending sea.
I watch him on this big wooden boat,
when all of a sudden the boat could not float.
I save him
and bring him upon the sand
Where right there he wakes up
and holds my hands
But I'm only a fish in this never ending sea,
He tells me he loves me and it's meant to be.
I promised I'd be back as soon as i could walk,
But when I came back I could not talk.
I'm looking around for my prince to be
As I watch the clock
Waiting for time to pass
My prince is falling in love
but not with me
As I walk to the water
With it to my knees
I wonder to myself if this is all I will be
Only a fish in this never ending sea.
