The soldier that I know
He is a rock, turned himself into an iron
He is a block of iron, turned himself into unbreakable
He knew his is going to facing death, scars, and wound
All the sleepless night, and endless daylight.
He left, with the toughest mind in the world
Carrying the heaviest burden with the hopes and desires.
He said, "I will be a soldier one day."
He said, "I will be a real man."

Immature hands lift up the first arm he owns of his life
Robbing the feeling of metal and cold
Hearing the fires and the wildness
Feeling sands and dusts flying across his face
The smell of blood and hay
Simulated his sensitive olfactory nerves.

He felt great to be a true soldier
Fighting side by side with his troops
Feeling the burn on the skins
The sweat and tear dry out
Became the braveness and loyalty that last forever.

He survived and went home
People were impressed by his strength and power that he shown
He told me the story that all he learned about
He is the soldier that I knew
