Big Dreams
Ask if I've got big dreams;
I'd tell you I've got some.
A secure job,
maybe a dog
Someplace to call home
With food on the stove.
A cornerstore right down the street,
stock full of cheap necessities.
A laptop and Wi-Fi,
so I can do schoolwork.
I want simple,
just what I need.
My dreams aren't all that big,
but they're dreams all the same.
