A girl and her butterfly
She put her net on the bench,
losing hope she would catch one.
But then she saw something crawling towards her:
a tiny and fuzzy caterpillar.
She scooped it up,
and ran home.
Making a home for it,
she jumped around with joy.
She waited 5 days,
but couldn’t find it.
Until one morning,
she noticed something.
Sitting in the corner,
colors showing brightly.
She realized it had changed,
into a butterfly.
Knowing she couldn’t keep it,
she took it to the museum.
Watching it fly away,
she knew she would see it again.
