Unforgettable
Unforgettable the way you use to speak
With swear words and curses, that never showed us weak-
Ness with the opinions and things you had to say
“Come here ya little s***” you always use to say
I miss the way you looked each morning
Your giant white v-neck sticking to your back-- leftover from your shower.
Walking around the house without teeth,
No One could help but laugh
Freshly combed hair, as white as snow
The rich cologne you wore always gave you a glow
High and mighty, you stood there tall
Six foot somethin’ and on the ball
Cracking jokes and always loving
I always knew you were something
Something special I had there throughout my life
Someone I could count on through good times and strife
Even though at times you were hard-headed
At times even too difficult to deal with
We love you just the same
Someone we cherished,
Someone we love
Someone we miss very dearly
Now that God has taken you up above
